Entry fees are $60 per team, $250 max per school. (After Sept. 1st)
63 teams have committed so far.
Several "small schools" (less than 2150 CBEDS) have requested to run in the Large School Division for two reasons:
1.) the races are earlier and they are planning a trip to Magic Mountain
2.) there are fewer large schools entered and they want to run with faster (not necessarialy true) runners.
If you are a coach from a small school and you wish to do this, please email me before Oct. 14th.

It is a 10 minute drive to Magic Mountain from Castaic Lake.
First race start Time will be 8:45 A.M. (Large Schools run first 5 races) 10:25 first small school race.
Awards:Trophies to first 3 teams in each race, medals to top 30 ind. in each race,
(50 medals in the varsity lg. school races). Magic Mt. Tickets to each individual winner.

Place: Castaic Lake Recreational Area (lower lagoon), a flat fast course with a mixture
of dirt, grass, and asphalt. Park like setting with grass, many shade trees, bathrooms with
dressing rooms and outdoor showers, barbeques, etc. Map of Course
Team Limits: The TOP 7 boys and girls must run varsity. All other juniors and seniors
must run JV. A Varsity team must be entered to run a JV team (unless OKíd by race director).
Divisions:Large schools Division I and II (2009 CIF divisions will be used)
Small schools Division III, IV, and V *You may move up a division

Directions: Castaic Lake Recreation Area. From the south, take I-5 north to Parker Rd.
Turn right and follow the road 1 mile to the third stop sign and turn right at Castaic Lake Rd.
to toll booth on the right. Signs will direct you to the staging area. There is a parking fee at
the lake.
